Adults aren't the only ones who have a hard time with kidney and urinary tract problems.
Children, young adults and their families face many challenges.
At the Kidney & Urology Foundation, we have been committed, from day one, to improving the lives of children and young adults afflicted with kidney or urologic disease.
We understand that especially with kids, it isn’t just about taking medicine on time and making sure you eat the right things. Kids need to have the chance to hang out, explore, and grow. The Pediatric Enrichment Program (PEP) does just that. We organize field trips, led by experienced chaperones and medical staff.
The Kidney & Urology Foundation of America arranged for more than 200 New York and New Jersey pediatric patients and their families to attend two wonderful trips in November: the New Jersey Nets Basketball game on November 12th against the New Orleans Hornets and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular on November 19th.
What a magical way to usher in the New Year!

Special thanks to our Pediatric Heroes for underwriting the cost of the tickets and for providing hats and t-shirts to our ‘kids’.
